The white forms are an exploration of form and shape in space. White preserves the visual purity of the resulting construction. Translucent materials allow the play of both light and shadow to become part of the work.

The resulting forms are taken from everyday experiences. For example, a bird perched on a telephone wire, a branch leaning against a fence, rock cairns, accumulations of rocks on a beach, etc. It is the reinterpretation of these shapes and images which highlights and focuses their beauty..
